The new photographic campaign allows the observation of every corner of the theater, from the stalls to all the orders, from the stage to the curtain up to the velarium. The images provided by the Historical Archive of the Teatro di San Carlo have allowed the publication of historical photos and rare period documents. Further unpublished material was granted by the Luigi Cuoco - Sergio Ragni Collection to obtain the most complete and prestigious volume ever made on this Theater. The history of the Theater is enriched by thematic focuses dedicated to the Abbiati Awards, Costumes, Ballet, San Carlo nel Mondo and restoration. The work contains a 32-page insert with drawings, sketches, and historical sketches between 1951 and 1999. Lopera contiene un inserto di 32 pagine con disegni, bozzetti e figurini storici compresi tra il 1951 e il 1999.
