Ted is an ambitious turtle who has always dreamed of going to the moon, so he leaves the swamp to achieve his dream. On his journey, Ted befriends a lonely beaver named Bobby, who decides to help Ted. Before they can head for the moon they face some obstacles. Not only do they have to find their way through heavy fog, but they get scared by a big bear. Then they meet some firebugs with special abilities. The friends finally reach the spot where they can build a rocket to take them to the moon, and then they're off. Along the way, they see the Milky Way and many other wonderful sights in the sky. Ted and Bobby end up crashing on the moon because they didn't have any landing gear! Discovering that the moon smells like cheese - and they don't like cheese - the friends are ready to head back home. Ted the Turtle's Trip to the Moon was very exciting, but they miss home.
