Eddlemon aims to "close the gap left by census records" by providing researchers with a blend of rare tax lists, marriage records and other early source materials including the 1835 pension roll (surnames A-B). This volume contains useful information for the following counties: Bledsoe, Bradley, Blount, Franklin, Gibson, Grainger, Henry, Jackson, Lauderdale, Maury, Overton, Roane, Sevier, Sumner, Washington and Wilson. Eddlemon also supplies early records from Kentucky, Texas (Brazos County) and Washington state (Douglas County) to trace the migration of Tennessee natives.
