During a rainstorm, the lives of two rabbits are changed forever when a farmer’s truck skids, lands in the ditch, and loosens the latch on their cage. Raised in captivity, Inky and Cabbage have never been outside before. Terrified, the rabbits dash out into the pouring rain and into the dense forest where they are soon discovered by two wild rabbits, Duncan and Skeeter. After the rabbits take pity on Inky and Cabbage, they lead them deep in the forest to their home, the Big Oak Tree Warren. As Inky and Cabbage begin their adventure as wild rabbits, they meet the strict leader of the warren, encounter fireflies for the first time, and begin learning about the new world around them. Soon they discover that the life of a wild rabbit is much different than one of a tame rabbit as they learn how to eat, what dangers lurk in the forest, and how to deal with other animals. But as the future waits to be told, the rabbits are about to realize that life in the warren is never boring! In this fun and educational tale, two tame rabbits are unwittingly led on a new adventure in the forest after they escape from their cages during a rainstorm.
