Only the purest heart, a dragon's heart, can save them now.After being injured while reversing the froggen's flood on Anavrin, Tambrynn travels to the depths of the mysterious Bloodthorn Forest for a cure. There she finds what she's looking for, but she also finds more trouble than she can handle. Thoron, her dark mage father, has found her and he's brought the Hulda, a villainous spirit Guardian, along as well. Tragedy strikes during the ensuing magical battle, leaving Tambrynn reeling from one loss closely followed by the death of a loved one. Shaken, Tambrynn barely manages to escape to her grandfather's mountain sanctuary to hide.Burgeoning with power siphoned from dragon bones, Thoron is only a few steps behind her, making that sanctuary a prison. When unrest spreads across Anavrin, threatening all the Anavrinians again, Tambrynn must race to unlock the hidden power of her firebird abilities in order to defeat her evil father.
