Bill Watterson (Washington D.C., 5 de julio de 1958) es el creador de Calvin y Hobbes, una de las tiras cómicas más populares y apreciadas del siglo XX. Watterson dibujó la tira desde su debut, el 18 de noviembre de 1985, hasta el 31 de diciembre de 1995.
