Synopsis "The Last Ride Is Free (in English)"

THE LAST RIDE} By DAVID LEE HENLEY: Is his first work of fiction. It is a thriller based upon a trio of characters, Mario, Julie and Lou. They set into motion a tumultuous relationship while developing a comradery and mutual protection. It starts as a dark and gruesome meeting of the lowest depths of humanity and the best of the virtuous in society all into one place, to bring a riveting picture of life from the different stations of society. It crosses all sense of fair play in depicting the world of the killers intruding into the world of decent peoples.Coming from totally different back grounds the trio find they are connected in some strange and bizarre way to each other. At first glance it is not very apparent. But as time flows the truth would come out. Though two of the three would never believe it.There is a strange and mysterious connection between Mario and some unseen force that alerts and advises him when things get dicey. It directs him in many ways to do the impossible and allows him to work out many violent encounters with an unseen helping hand. All because he listens and follows the edicts of the unknown force. There are eleven chapters. Each chapter having a complete quest from the start till the end. Basically, a composition or series of stories depicting the journeys the trio embark upon. All eventually culminating at a point of understanding, bonding and harmony with each other. But it also opens up a chance, maybe a small chance, but a chance, that in all the chaos, there just might be a way to redeem ones self. To rectify a past beyond hope of salvaging. To perhaps find forgiveness, and to atone for, all the mayhem brought by the two killers. The First chapter; Tells the story of the two for hire killers working for a boss that is more insidious than even they can stand. Upon agreeing with each other to leave this boss they find they will have to earn their freedom the hard way. It's never easy.Chapter two; Tells the story of how Julie came to become a member as it were of this unholy alliance. How she had to prove herself in order to stay alive, and in so doing came to find she had a dark side she hadn't even known was there. Surprise.Chapter three; Awakens feelings never felt before in Mario, being a killer and all. It surprised even him. He is driven to try and save Julie, if he can, from a Super rich criminal who has an army of thugs at his beck and call. Mario being just one man has a job to do and he means to do it. Good luck with that.Chapter four; Mario has a real problem. Everyone wants his hide. He was just trying to do the right thing and now the world wants a piece of him. He has to try and figure out how to save himself and clear his name. Easier said than done.Chapter five; Mario and Julie want to get out of town. Take a long-needed vacation. Maybe take a cruise, that sounded just fine. But nothing ever seems to go the way it should with these people. It always seems trouble just follows them around. A bunch of gangsters a batch of diamonds, a big ship. What could go wrong.Chapter six; In love now. How sweet. But enough is enough. Time to get away for good. Leave the city for Shangri-la. Set up house-keeping and start a new life. In their dreams. Who do they think they are? Don't they know, where ever they go, trouble follows. Guess they just haven't figured that out yet.Chapter seven; Mario is getting to know his secret helper better. At least he thinks he is. Julie and Lou are getting used to ranch life, and now some Government man is poking around. What could he possibly want with a couple of killers and a sweet little Psychologist all in retirement? Just doesn't pay to ask too many questions.Chapter eight; Mario wanted action. The idiot didn't know what he was asking for or he wouldn't be asking. He now has to deal with a gang of sex slave flesh peddlers, illegals and terrorist smugglers, and an a-bomb.
