When you say, "The Lord is my Portion," you are standing on the promises of Psalm 119:57-58. "Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words. I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word." This is powerful. From this point, you are no longer in the normal or physical realm. You have spiritually become a Levite to the Most-High God under the anointing. This is a befitting gesture for God said: "I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix...therefore the Levites shall be mine;" (Numbers 3:12.) This gives us the much needed boldness in the face of trouble and turmoil in this present time.
