Synopsis "The Moon on a stick (in English)"
Tom Parker the eldest son of a farming family, was followed by younger brother Steve and then by their sister Rose. Their father had passed away many years earlier leaving unfinished business. The family were by now coming to terms with the recent death of their mother.Everything with the family was going along fine until that dark windswept stormy night as Tom returned from ploughing the top field. There standing in the middle of the road was a lone woman in distress. The family is soon torn apart at the seams by this socialite woman Annabelle with her airs and graces. Well to do, privately educated, she was never a match for a farmer's son. Uncle Charlie on the other hand, well, he was different. Describing his council owned tower block flat as the penthouse suite, stood him in good stead amongst his so called friends and acquaintances. A likable rogue, who was up to just about everything. For him the police did a very good job, but as he would often say, it would be a nice idea if they did it without involving him.He was known in the family as the anarchist and unwelcome because of his drinking habits and mysterious ways. The Parkers were unfortunately responsible for more than one person departing this world early, or was it the next
