While attending a national police convention in Atlanta, Georgia, Maggie and Jonathan Pembroke, her fiancé and co-investigator, solve the murders that occur in association with the Plein Air Festival for artists, which occurs in major American cities each year. Their associate, Corporal Jo-Ellen Broussard, who is also attending the convention, joins the two investigators as they crack the case. Bio MW Burdette has written two other series of novels, and has published eleven novels to date. This is the sixth in the series of LT Maggie Watson murder mystery novels. Burdette worked for many years in the real estate field, and sales management before becoming a writer. Burdette lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife and two West Highland Terriers.
