When there are a rash of stagecoach robberies between Colorado Springs and Denver, Clint is pressed into service by his friend, private detective Talbot Roper. When he gets to Colorado Springs Clint starts to suspect that the man behind it all might be a simple ticket clerk. But things are changing in town as a new police department is set to replace the longtime sheriff, a man who Clint thinks can help him solve the robberies.
