Synopsis "The use of literary sources for the study of history (in English)"

This paper is based on the importance of the use of literary sources to motivate the study of World War II in 10th grade students. The research is based on the theoretical foundations provided by motivation in the process of teaching and learning history. Valuations of the selected literary sources are made, which allowed an initial diagnosis to be made of the 10th grade students, which made it possible to design the didactic unit on the Second World War using literary sources. To evaluate the results, methods from the theoretical level, from the empirical level and mathematical statistical methods were used.
