The War of the Worlds' is a prominent science fiction novel that was published in the year 1897 by English author H. G. Wells. American director Orson Welles restyled 'The War of the Worlds' and portrayed the popular radio station in 1938. Welles represented the imaginary episode as a news broadcast and purportedly prompted alarm among audience that Martians were attacking.
