C.J. a teacher in one of the city's high schools who is passionate about her students is fearless and often time misunderstood. She's on a quest to eradicate the maltreatment of disenfranchised students in an impoverished neighborhood. To make an impact, she decides to move in Avalon Village which is seen as the ghetto to her family but to her it's being with people who are underprivileged and want change but have no idea how. At what expense does CJ go through to make this change happen at Giuliani High and in The Avalon Village?
