Destiny would put Chivonn, raised by a single mom on the outskirts of Compton, and Denton, from a well-to-do family in Burbank, into a situation neither one were prepared for. On a fun Friday night, at the bangin' The Three Hearts club in downtown Hollywood, a small faction of the Piru's gang interrupts their hard working lives when JD, the leader, spots beautiful Chivonn on the dance floor. Being a man who gets what he wants, he tries to take her, whether she wants to or not. From seemingly nowhere, the striking Denton, smoothly comes to her rescue, and unwittingly puts himself in harm's way. Meanwhile, passionate sparks fly between Chivonn and Denton, creating a whirlwind romance that will only intensify as their lives are thrown into chaos. Will Denton survive his unintentional disrespect of the notorious gang leader? Can Chivonn stay on track to make her mama proud? What will become of the fateful pair?
