It is offered as a single story here, to help shed light on the process of re-capturing portions of a lifetime that have been lost to horrific abuse. You will more than likely feel the disjointed manner in which this occurs and that is the point of sharing it at all. These sorts of memories are not recalled in book format. They are nightmares; fragmented capturing's of what sounds too awful to be real. Yet I assure you, they are very much real. Realize these memories are from the mind of a very young girl. Perhaps, after more time passes and the pieces come together, it will be revised and re-ordered. Yet even then, I suspect you will feel the disconnected nature of the 14 years of hell portrayed here.
