Synopsis "trip wire (in English)"
The perfect crime has no evidence. Its perpetrators vanish from the crime scene as though they never existed. Ideally, the payoff is huge beyond even a greedy man's dreams. In a dark cave, in Vietnam, a perfect crime begins. Three men meet in the middle of a war, and forge the thinnest of connections. They know each other's names, but nothing else; they also know they are men determined to do whatever it takes to stay alive. Only one of them makes note of their names. "Who knows," he says. "Maybe after all this is over we'll want to have a beer someday." Before we get to that cave, we meet those three men: Brand Sanchez, Pete Williams, and Tony Riley. Each of them is good-looking, scheming, thieving, and never above a fight. Their lives will collide, separate, and dangerously join again. If they could see ahead, they might run - but then again, they might not. Trip Wire, takes the reader into the lives of three likeable bad guys. Its strong action will appeal to men, while women will find the three main characters irresistible.
