By foot, bicycle, motorcycle, car, bus, train, plane and a most extraordinary conveyance, one intrepid traveler voyages from the woodlands and streams of rural Cheeseheadlandia across the country, the planet and beyond. "Not long after, while seated in an open air restaurant on San Miguel's zólaco, the breeze was drifting in the window, carrying with it the smells and sounds of life passing through the square...the rumble, clatter and exhaust of ancient Volkswagen Things, the bells of the ice cream carts, mopeds burbling by as they wove their way amongst young men already well into their tequila cups. As that synesthetic breeze glided over the red and white checkered table cloths, it picked up their patterns and carried them along with the street life past the piano, swirling its keys and their melodies into a mixture of sights, sounds and smells that wrapped around the room in a morphing Mexican montage.
