Pero, ¿qué esconde en realidad el centímetro de mar? ¿Qué es? ¿Qué ocurrirá cuando lo alcancen? El interrogante se convierte así en metáfora sobre la incertidumbre, la búsqueda, Dios, e incluso la propia muerte.
