Synopsis "Uncivil (in English)"
The demise of democracy was gradual, until civil rights were completely eroded. In the aftermath of societal war and economic collapse, resistors are left to forge and survive the revolution. Nixon, a war veteran, struggles to cope with his past traumas and current circumstance. His baby sister Elise, jaded and strong willed, quickly adapts to the new world. Forced into the outskirts of society as domestic refugees, Nixon and his band of revolutionaries find solitude in the mountains of Georgia. The Refuge is their new home, but becomes jeopardized once the group is urged to leave or die. When their allies are consulted on how to engage, they soon find out the stakes aren't that simple.Defining boundaries, humanity and the new normal amongst those demanding rights prove near impossible, when The Scourge-an ethnocentric group, will do anything to save their godless land.
