This is the latest in a series of historical studies on the war in Southeast Asia prepared by the USAF Historical Division Liaison Office (AFCHO). The author has concentrated primarily on Headquarters USAF logistic plans and policies, as well as those of other top-level Pentagon agencies, aimed at resolving such problems as munition shortages and building an adequate theater base complex to support USAF combat units.
