There are Illustrated and chapter books for children aged 5-7 and 8 year. The 'God Cares' series provides a Biblical approach to discussing emotions and behaviour with children to nurture an attitude of wellness. They cover biblical stories such as Jonah and Daniel and friends. They look at current topics such as - when I feel down, when I am strong and when I am anxious. There is a helpful section to dicuss these feelings with children and resources.
