With mixed emotions, Jenny and Daniel follow Austin to an up-scale, townhouse community near the university where Daniel is enrolled. In his first semester, Daniel encounters a segment of academia hostile to American influences on established Canadian culture.Trapped in the bitter cold and perpetual darkness of a far-north winter, Jenny becomes ill.
