Synopsis "Where Paint Goes (in English)"
An autobiography, the historical account of my life as an artist; writtenin a way that reflects the idea, "art mirrors life and life mirrors art."I use a subtitle for the book: "The art that affected my life and the lifethat affected my art." I am a fifty-year veteran of working in the creativeindustry, accomplishing and/or holding the titles of - fine artist, painter, sculptor, illustrator, designer, graphic designer, conceptual promotionaldesigner, art director, creative director, under graduate advertising artsinstructor, private post-secondary college administrator, mentor andmore. This book is written in conversational style.Born, 1953, in Martinez, California. I was recognized as being a creativeat an early age and addressed my life accordingly to this date. I began towork at illustration and painting at the age of sixteen and was representedby my first gallery prior to graduating high school. At the age of nineteenI was painting as well as offering art instruction via civic instructionalclasses. In my fifty years of working in the art industry, my work has beenexhibited all around the United States, Canada, Mexico, China, Germany, and the UK. To date my work is represented in Los Angeles, China, andLas Vegas. I write this book not to tell the story of my life, but to offer thereader insight into the life of an artist.
