A few years in the future we find Jessie Monroe, a tough, smart, resilient ex-spy, working as a CIA data analyst. She was called back from her field assignment when covert operations were deemed unnecessary, since Russia is now a close ally to the United States.While analyzing satellite data, Jessie finds evidence that a foreign power is planning to attack U.S. networks.
