Synopsis "Who Will go to Krasnoyarsk? Russian Reader for Intermediate and Advanced Learners. Practicing Russian Prepositions and Motion Verbs. (in Russian)"

This dual language book is designed for intermediate and advanced students who want to further improve their knowledge and nderstanding of Russian grammar and enrich their vocabulary. The primary focus of this study aid is on the Russian prepositions. All of us know what an important role those little words play in a sentence. A preposition can make or break a sentence! An incorrect preposition will make your sentence sound clumsy and even meaningless, while the right choice of prepositions, which also means the right choice of cases and endings of the nouns and adjectives, immediately distinguishes you as an excellent Russian scholar. During many years of tutoring students I noticed that correct usage of prepositions can be challenging. This book offers tons of examples of standard usage of prepositions in Russian sentences and phrases in a variety of situations, which are repeated throughout the book for easier memorization. In addition, students can check how well they have learned the material; each page of the original Russian text is followed by the same text with the prepositions missing. Students can fill in the blanks and then compare their choices with the original text. By the end of the book the readers should become fluent in the area! As usual, I tried to keep my readers entertained with the plot of the story. The more fun to study - the better results. Enjoy!
