Synopsis "Yo fui Maqui (Narrativa, S. A. )"

Cinco hombres, cinco soldados que defendieron a un gobierno legítimo, atacado por unos militares rebeldes que destruyeron el país y lo llevaron a la represión y la miseria. Estos hombres al finalizar la guerra se encontraban en Valencia. Al enterarse de que los compañeros que se entregaban eran fusilados o enviados a campos de trabajos forzados, decidieron irse a Andalucía, su lugar de nacimiento y llegar hasta la serranía gaditana. Allí fueron perseguidos y acusados de bandoleros asesinos aunque ellos sólo fueron maquis.
